A WHOLESALE Shopping Cart site functions much like a RETAIL Shopping Cart, but is designed to meet the needs of two different groups of customers.
The first group of customers for a wholesaler or manufacturer is the retail customer. For these customers the WHOLESALE Shopping Cart finctions just like the RETAIL Shopping Cart described above.
The second group of customer are the dealers. This group is allowed to access the site with password protection. They are allowed to see priviledged information that you wish them to have access to. Under your control the dealers can see wholesale pricing, inventory stock levels, and account status. They can place orders under a range of formats that are easy for a dealer to use.
With this solution, you greatly enhance your ability to communicate product information to your dealer base, and optionally to the retail customer base as well.
